TWO STAGED READINGS COMING IN APRIL

A Classic Theatre in Association with The St. Augustine Historical Society presents:

by Michael Gannon
Directed by Deborah Dickey
An original play, written by UF Distinguished Professor of History Dr. Michael Gannon, where local history comes to trial.
In her novel, Cross Creek, Mrs. Rawlings mentioned her good friend Zelma Cason. Cason did not like the description given of her and sued Mrs. Rawlings for invasion of privacy. Once close friends until the publication of Cross Creek soured the friendship and led to a colorful courtroom battle. The trial drew nationwide attention, and was a landmark case in the question of "right of privacy" in the state of Florida.
