Welcome to StA Home Theatre, bringing theatrical performances to our audience during this time when attending a live show is either not possible or something our audiences feel unsure about. The show must go on!

In 1935, the poet Langston Hughes wrote a stirring poem speaking about the American dream of equality and prosperity, and how it was then, and still remains, an elusive concept to many in this country. It was first published in Esquire Magazine in 1936, and in 1990 was revived in a public reading by Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. The message of this poem resonates today as it did 85 years ago.

“Let America Be America Again” is our humble way of honoring the life of John Robert Lewis, the legendary civil rights leader who passed away this past August at the age of 80. His legacy of ‘making good trouble’…is a call to all who want to make positive changes in our society.

Our lineup of offerings for StA Home Theatre continues to grow! You can access them below.

We encourage creatives in Northeast Florida to submit videos which are theatrical in nature. We would love to feature them in StA Home Theatre.

A Classic Theatre is thrilled to collaborate with The Florida Storytelling Troupe to bring you theater in its most basic form, the art of telling a good story.
