A Classic Theatre Season Suspended

Dear friends and patrons,

Out of an abundance of caution and wanting to ensure the safety and health of our audience, we are suspending the remainder of our theatre season until further notice. We feel this is the best decision for our theatre community and the community at large.

While monitoring the health challenges brought on by the Coronavirus, we will heed the advice of our local leaders and the CDC and remain on hold until it is deemed wise and safe to continue our season. There are considerations of scheduling and other concerns which will have to be addressed, but we do hope to resume the season in the near future and look forward to bringing you more wonderful productions in 2020. We are also trying to see if we can reschedule our enthusiastically received production of Cross Roads, but with the uncertainty of the very near future, we do not know if it will be possible.

A Classic Theatre is very grateful to have such wonderful and loyal audiences, actors and crew, and we know we will all get through this challenging time by being mindful of all our needs.

We appreciate our patrons who have already purchased tickets to our current production. At this time, you can contact us at and request a refund, or if you’d like, consider your purchase a donation to our organization. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization so your donation is tax deductible. Being a small theatre group, our resources are always very limited so every dollar makes a huge difference.

Please monitor news media and websites and stay informed as this global situation unfolds and please take the warnings and precautions very seriously. Just like putting on a play, everyone collaborating and working towards one goal will ensure we are all successful, and we will defeat this virus, hopefully sooner than later.

Stay safe and healthy and we hope to see you again very soon!
