Kimberly Levaco is a teenage girl who suffers from a condition similar to progeria, causing her to age rapidly and appear much older than her actual age. About to turn 16, she is physically an elderly woman due to her condition, forcing her to navigate a world that doesn't understand her. She has a dysfunctional family with a hypochondriac mother, a sometimes-drunk father, and a scam-artist aunt, all of whom add to her challenges. Kimberly. Despite it all, she is determined to find happiness against all odds in a funny and poignant story.
This is the original version of the off-Broadway play, not the musical.

Kimberly - though 16, the role is for an actress in her 60s-70s.
Buddy - a man in his mid-30s, Kimberly's dad
Pattie - Buddy's wife, mid-30s
Jeff - awkward teen, looking for actor in mid teens to late 20s.
Debra - woman in early 30s, Pattie's sister

Don (The Head Coach: 45-55)
A veteran coach who believes winning is the only objective. He views baseball as a "boot camp" for life. He is brash, hyper-masculine, and often "brutish". He is a blue-collar house painter who carries his coaching notes everywhere.
Michael (The Assistant Coach: 35-50)
A newcomer who believes the game should be about having fun and learning life skills. He thinks every child should receive an award regardless of the score. He is anxious, high-strung, and "nerdy". He is a white-collar businessman who often takes work calls during practice.
